Full route details can be found at the Cycle Langholm website. There is a mountain biking centre located at Newcastleton, just nine miles from Carnlea. This centre offers a network of trails which can be enjoyed by families, novices and those looking to challenge themselves alike. Further information can be found at the 7 Stanes website. Langholm offers all of these activities and much, much more. With prior arrangement, Meg and Bill can also provide Roe Deer Stalking and local fishing. Fishing
Langholm
is a town renowned for its fantastic fishing locations. The River Esk
runs directly through Langholm, and anglers can enjoy an excellent fishing
experience at a reasonable price.
Langholm
offers a haven for walkers. The scenery is beautiful and the peaceful
walking routes are considered to be amongst the best in Scotland.

There
is a nine hole golf course in Langholm. Non-members are welcome to
arrive and play at the Langholm Golf Club.
The
Langholm Cycling Group have published a list of seven cycling routes in and
around Langholm. These routes vary in length from 14 to 75 miles, and
use mainly quiet country roads which pass through beautiful Scottish
scenery.
